Hi there! I’m Melanie, a professional artist and makeup artist with over twenty years in the tv/film/print and beauty industries. I’m all about enhancing your natural beauty so you can truly shine.

With a Fine Art degree from Fresno State, I am passionate about creating beauty and painting more than just faces; I immerse myself in our vibrant local art community. My approach to makeup transforms your face into the canvas, working with light and color to highlight your best features and ensuring that you shine while feeling like the best version of yourself.  Together, we’ll create a look that’s totally you and makes you feel amazing. 

 

As a makeup artist, I've had the privilege of working across the beauty and entertainment industries, from my start in the salon to my career in tv/film and print. My journey has allowed me to collaborate with celebrities and photographers, as well as brides and I've shared my expertise through developing and teaching professional makeup courses at Columbia College Chicago as well as corporate workshops. Over the years, I've also had the pleasure of working as a makeup artist with renowned makeup brands like MAC, Estee Lauder, Tarte, and Chanel, among others, as well as a rep for clinical skincare and cosmetics companies used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

 

 I absolutely love working with clients in creating their vision. It’s my passion to help you look and feel your best on such a significant day.
